This is my favorite instrument so far. I use it in my sound healing content to mimic the sounds of a babbling brook. It layers well with anything during recording. Good price too!
The seed pods produce a beautiful, rich sound. Minus one star because a few of the pods are cracked or have broken edges but are still attached to the string, which affects the resonance of those specific pods, but there are many pods on this XXL shaker. The shaker was packed without any protective cover or padding in the shipping box, but it appears the pods were already broken before shipping since there weren't loose shards in the box.
The rattle sounds beautiful and arrived so quickly. Thank you!
